Sight threat in acid attack
A SYDNEY man whose exwife is accused of throwing acid on his face could lose his sight.
The 55-year-old woman is said to have confronted her ex at his workplace in Silverwater about 1.30pm on Monday.
Following an argument between the pair, the woman allegedly went to the office kitchen and returned with a mug containing a corrosive fluid that she then threw in the 58-year-old man’s face.
Tests are being done to determine whether the man, who is at Concord Emergency Burns Unit, will keep his sight.
