BRAYDEN Mott takes out fish of the week this week for this massive gold trevelly caught while jigging.

You can see the jig that was successful still in the mouth of the fish.

It went 90cm on the brag mat and would have tested the tackle of Brayden as these fish fight hard.

We don’t see a lot of these sized fish caught here, but further north they are more prolific.

It is not just big GTs getting caught here on the Gold Coast by jigging.

We are also seeing big jew fish landed on the closer reefs.
