THE Commonwealth Games is normally a gold rush for Aussie athletes but it was archrivals England who finished on top of the gold medal tally in Glasgow four years ago.

With the home-ground advantage, Australia are hot $1.40 favourites to finish the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast with the most gold medals. England are $2.75, ahead of Canada ($34).
