Benji signing a winner

-

BENJI Marshall would be lucky to be on half Mitchell Moses’ salary.

Heading into today’s clash between the halves, it’s probably fair to say Wests Tigers supporters would not swap Marshall for the player who left the NRL club last year.

While former Tiger Moses is under fire with the winless Parramatta after failing to register a single run in last round’s 14-4 loss to Cronulla, Marshall’s return has been a standout success story.

The 33-year-old received his starting team call-up following the hamstring injury Josh Reynolds suffered before the opening game.

Even before that, coach Tigers Ivan Cleary said his influence was obvious.
