SELF-FUNDED ROB GROVER, GOLD COAST RETIREES INC

-

retirees are once again being attacked by Labor Party policy.

Bill Shorten has announced that, if Labor is elected to Government, it will cancel the refund of excess tax (i.e. imputation credits) paid on dividend income for those taxpayers who have no other income tax liability.

This will result in yet another reduction in income for many selffunded retirees and pensioners holding small share portfolios.

In response to this announcement,

Gold Coast Retirees Inc will be holding a public forum to discuss this discriminatory policy and to plan an active protest campaign.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting on Wednesday April 18 at 9.30am at the Broadbeach Seniors’ Centre, 23 T E Peters Drive, (cnr Havana Key), Broadbeach.

Due to limited seating entry will be granted only to those who register by email at robgrover@ hotmail.com. Guests are requested to contribute $5 towards the cost of hall rental and morning tea.
