OFFSHORE: 18 and 24 fathom reefs for Spanish mackerel, wahoo and snapper. There have also been cobia around. Long tail tuna behind the surfbreak, good on middle lures and stick baits.

SEAWAY: Dewfish or mulloway on the north wall and the pipe. There’s also good mangrove jack on live bait.

BROADWATER: Plenty of whiting around at the moment and flathead too. There’s good numbers of sand crabs around, it’s worth putting pots out. Macleay Island, Lamb Island and the Powerlines at Cabbage Tree Point is excellent for prawns. JUMPINPIN: Giant trevally and tailor around.
