Females own Grafton

CLAYTON Gallagher and Noriyuki Masuda are going to feel like the odd men out when they ride in the Class 3 Rising Star Handicap (1410m) at Grafton today.

The all-apprentices race has 11 starters, with Gallagher and Masuda up against eight female riders. No rider has been declared for Nothing for the press, which ran third at the Gold Coast last Saturday and is not a certain starter.

Gallagher is on Sawtell and Masuda is on Solar Lady.
