HOW TO GET TO THE VENUES TODAY

ACTION TODAY: Swimming — 10.30am-1.30pm, 7.30-10.30pm

TRAIN: The preferred train station for event access is Helensvale Station, where Games shuttle bus and Route GC2018 services are available. The 704 bus line on the local route is also running.

TRAM: The closest tram station is Southport Station, from which it is a 10-minute walk to the venue along the recommended signed walking route.

BUS: Local bus routes do not have direct access to the venue. However, the 704, 713 and 719 bus lines all stop directly opposite Southport Station.

UBER/TAXI: Uber and taxi services do not have direct access to the venue. There is a designated passenger pick up and drop off zone on Lawson Street, between High and Garden streets. There is a taxi zone on the northern side of Suter Street. It is about a 20-minute walk from these to the venue.

DRIVING: There is a park’n’ride facility at Parkwood, from which passengers can take the local bus route or the Games shuttle bus. This must be pre-booked.
