Will faces his Tassie curse
THE last time Will Davison raced at Symmons Plains in Tasmania, the Supercars star ended up laid out in hospital with a broken back.
The Ford driver returns to the track determined to “erase the memory’’ of last year’s spectacular 12-car crash with victory in this weekend’s Tasmanian SuperSprint.
The crash in wet conditions caused an estimated $5 million worth of damage to the cars involved and left Davison with a fractured vertebrae, forcing him to race in pain.
