Theo’s a gun, says Young

JAMIE Young says he’s a better goalkeeper for the time he spent with Michael Theo in their battle for the firstchoice custodian’s spot at Brisbane Roar.

Young has paid tribute to Theo, who last week confirmed his departure from the Roar at the end of the season after eight years at the club.

Despite competing for the same spot since 2014, Young and Theo have always had a good relationship.

Roar can win a finals berth by beating the Wanderers on Saturday.
