SCHOOL’S OUT BUT IT’S TIME FOR A LESSON IN LAUGHTER

-

THE streets of Melbourne are echoing with laughter as the Melbourne International Comedy Festival kicks into full gear.

One of the three largest comedy festivals in the world, alongside Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival, the event has been running at venues throughout the southern capital since March 28. On the set list this year is Aunty Donna in an active show that’s sure to leave you worn out. Mark Samual Bonanno, Broden Kelly and Zachary Ruane tear through their show like playground tykes ... as they should.

It’s titled Glennridge Secondary College, after all.

It’s just one of the many shows on offer at the event, which runs until April 22.
