ALL GOOD ONCE THE BUZZ BEGINS

-

SUNRISE’S David Koch (above, with Sam Armytage) has some advice for us – chill out. He is referring to the sky is falling mentality that has led to a mass outbreak of moaning and unsold tickets for the Games. “The same thing happened in Sydney for the Olympics in 2000. It was all doom and gloom with unsold seats but as soon as it started and people experienced the buzz the tickets sales took off.” As someone who has fronted the Channel 7 breakfast show for 16 years what has been a highlight? “During the Rugby World Cup in 2003 I was involved with The Clubhouse, which was devoted to the fun side of the Cup. Somehow I ended up fronting INXS when they performed which was something else.”
