AN 11-tenancy Southport shopping area has added to its mix with three new outlets joining the line-up.

Sushi Train, 12RND Fitness and Kebab Bros are the latest stores to open at Servico on Olsen at 501 Olsen Ave.

The 8909sq m site is owned by Empirica Developments.

The new tenants join Shell Coles Express, KFC and Starbucks at the retail centre.

Tenancies were negotiated by Kelly Buxton from Colliers International and Knight Frank.

Ms Buxton, who has brought in Sushi Train (10year lease for 84sq m) and 12RND Fitness (four-year lease for 150sq m) said the diversity of tenants will prove a strength for the precinct.

“12RND Fitness is an exciting addition to the centre offering a unique fitness format that is based on a 12 round boxing contest.

“Sushi Train has signed a 10-year lease for 84sq m which means customers will have an even greater diversity of choice when it comes to food and beverage.”

Knight Frank negotiated a 10-year lease for a 62sq m space for Kebab Bros.

There are three additional shopfronts on-site which range in size from 75sqm to 259sqm or can be combined to create larger tenancies. They are approved for a range of uses including food and beverage, retail, medical, and automotive.

Empirica Developments’ Matthew Volk said it chose the location because of projected population growth in the area.,

“We want to ensure our customers have quick and easy convenience shopping on hand as they pass through on their way to work, school, university, hospital,” he said.

Empirica Developments is a development company based in Brisbane, which has a diverse portfolio of retail, commercial, industrial and residential projects.
