TRACKING MATT’S MEDIA MISSION

MATT Shirvington is one of those rare sportspeople who has made the transition from track to tube. Listening to him MC a function at Longines and you marvel at his ability to keep people’s attention – no easy task. “When I retired from sport,” he said, “I wanted to have a career in media so I threw myself into a newsroom and simply did everything that was asked of me and more to learn every aspect of working on television.” Hard work and dedication pay off.
