JASON Day was putting his faith in the adage the US Masters doesn’t start until the back nine on Sunday, acknowledging his third-round move is likely too late.

The Australian, who opened the week with a 75, continued to improve at Augusta National with a threeunder-par 69, one-under overall. He was 13 shots behind American Patrick Reed going into today’s final round.
