Oh, what a year looms
RUGBY league’s ability to surprise us continues to surprise us.
Whether it’s the bottom three sides of the 2017 NRL ladder sitting in the top four this time around, the Titans springing wins against the Broncos and Sea Eagles, or just the spate of “old boy” signings in the Gold Coast competition, there is a lot to like about footy in 2018.
Hands up if you tipped the Titans to be sitting above both the Broncos and Cowboys after five rounds.
Even Burleigh are heading in the right direction in the Intrust Super Cup, adding another layer of excitement to the code in the region. Long may it continue.
