PRINCE CHARLES WAS VERY SWEET

HEATHER Haynes OAM is still buzzing after attending a reception for HRH Prince Charles at Government House in Brisbane last Friday night. The long-time local charity worker was one of many who were able to enjoy the company of the next in line to the throne. “He was in such good spirits, joking and laughing with everyone he met,” said Heather. “I asked him how he was enjoying his stay and he said that he loved our Government House because the beds are so comfortable. I also overheard him say to someone else that he had been given a special bottle of molasses at the Bundaberg Distillery. He really appreciated that because he puts molasses on his porridge in the morning.” Molasses - who knew?
