Dolphins dish out awards

SAMMY-JO Johnson and Howard Biddle have emerged as the big winners from the Gold Coast Dolphins’ end of season presentation.

The pair were announced as the club’s women’s and men’s player of the year, respectively.

The recognition capped a stellar season for Johnson, who last month took out Queensland Fire players’ player and player of the year honours.

For Biddle, 2017-18 brought him 704 runs and 38 wickets.
