Lilley spotted making most of city

CHRIS Lilley has set up camp on the Gold Coast.

The controversial comedian, who is currently filming a new Netflix series in Queensland, has yet to be spotted at any Games events during his stay on the Glitter Strip, but he has been sighted out and about. The notoriously private actor and director is filming the comedy series while keeping a low profile away from the global media presence in town.

But spies have spotted the 43-year-old Sydneysider at local venues including Alfred’s Diner at Mermaid Beach. Fans have also been seen taking selfies with him in Burleigh.

The 10-episode comedy series, which is yet to be given an official title, began filming last month.
