HIDDEN ROCKS HELP LYN SPREAD THE JOY
UPPER Coomera local Lyn Hall has been spreading joy to local children by painting rocks and hiding them for kids to find.
Ms Hall said she got the idea to hide the handpainted trinkets after visiting the UK.
“I was in the UK in March, the painted rocks is a craze over there at the moment, and it was lovely to see the little children’s faces finding and hiding the rocks, spreading the love,” she said.
She painted 28 rocks with characters such as Spider Man, Ninja Turtles, the Cookie Monster and other kids favourites and scattered them around Paradise Point and the Highland Reserve Estate for children to find over the school holidays.
“I bought back a Minion with me from the UK, to continue its journey over here,” she said.
“I had a rock given to me at the weekend by my friend’s great granddaughter, Harlo, which made me smile.”
Ms Hall has no children of her own but is mum to a fur baby, 14-year-old King Charles Cavalier Lucy, and said she wanted to spread joy to local children.
