FISHING

BROADWATER/JUMPINPIN:

Good sized whiting up around the Pin. Mangrove jack around bridge pylons and rock walls in the Coomera River. Bream and flathead reported off the beaches.

TWEED:

Mulloway and flathead reported in the Tweed River up to Tumbulgum. Bass beginning to appear in upper reaches. Trevally off the Breakwall.

OFFSHORE:

Beautiful conditions expected offshore today. A great good time of year for Spanish mackerel and pelagic species from Palm Beach reef. The 50 fathom reefs are worth a try for snapper.
