Jayda walks into rep side

JAYDA Anderson will compete for Queensland at the Australian Little Athletics Championships (ALAC) at Runaway Bay on April 28-29 after winning the state under-13 1500m racewalk title.

Jayda is among nine Gold Coast athletes on the 26-strong under-13 Queensland team, with training partner Kris Hayward also named.

“The state teams for ALACs are among the hardest and most coveted teams to be selected for,” coach Steve Langley said.
