Kingscliff man on drug charges

POLICE have charged a man with drug offences after finding him unconscious on a Kingscliff road.

Officers were called to Kingsford Drive about 6.50am on March 31 and found the 34-year-old Bexley North man with a laceration on the back of his head. He allegedly became aggressive with police and uncooperative with paramedics who had been called to treat him. The man was later charged with possessing and supplying prohibited drugs. He was released on conditional bail to appear in Byron Bay Local Court on April 19.
