SADDLING UP TO THE BIG SCREEN

MICHELLE Payne stole our hearts with her epic ride to win the Melbourne Cup. Filming has recently started on a movie and Michelle is still coming to grips with having her life on the big screen. “It’s a bit surreal. I am involved with the film mainly with the riding sequences and telling the actors how to ride correctly. They are complaining about their sore legs and keeping their backs straight but I want it to look right when it is released.”
