FRESHWATER: Whiting and bass in the upper reaches, whiting particular­ly near Tweed and as far as Broadwater. Dew fish now common in the main rivers and the mouth of the Seaway. Garfish and trevally appearing around the Tweed, expected to grow more common over the next few months. Excellent conditions to continue, peaking on Sunday.

OFFSHORE: Swell receding but expected to pick up during the week before dropping back down on Friday. Good conditions over the weekend. Mackerel, sharks spotted 24 fathoms out from the Seaway. Wahoo and snapper becoming more common.
