Club visit for Games great

GROUNDBREAKING former Australian athlete Jana Pittman will visit Mudgeeraba Soccer Club today to help the club’s NPL Women’s side.

A four-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist as a 400m runner and hurdler, Pittman will run a two-hour session on sports nutrition and sprinting technique.

The 35-year-old was the first Australian female to compete in both the Summer and Winter Olympics after lining up in the two-woman bobsleigh in Sochi in 2014.
