Locals chase SEQ honours

COMPETITORS from Miami’s Gold Coast Gymnastics Club and Southport Gymnastics Club will line up at the South East Queensland Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Regional Championships this weekend.

Held at Chandler, the event will draw more than 200 gymnasts as they fight for spots at the state titles.

“Gymnasts will take to the floor as well as perform on apparatus such as the vault, uneven bars and beam,” Gymnastics Queensland chief executive Kym Dowdell said.
