WIGGLE PULLS OUT OF TOUR
YELLOW Wiggle Emma Watkins has been forced to pull out of shows with the children’s entertainment group – including on the Gold Coast on Tuesday – to undergo treatment for chronic endometriosis.
“I have been in a lot of pain for the past couple of years and on advice from my specialist, a difficult decision has been made for me to be urgently admitted to hospital to have an operation to manage the pain that endometriosis has brought on,” Watkins said.
The 28-year-old will be admitted to hospital on Tuesday, the same day she was to perform with the Wiggles at Dreamworld.
An understudy will perform as the Yellow Wiggle in Watkins’ place.
