AUSTRALIAN swimming legend Dawn Fraser enjoyed dinner at The Star’s Nineteen rooftop restaurant on Saturday, welcomed by venue partners Billy and Jackie Cross. Ms Fraser has been busy going to sports sessions, listing her highlights as the swimming, rugby sevens — “it’s such a fast game” — basketball, badminton and beach volleyball. “I’ve been enjoying the whole atmosphere of the Games. This the first non-capitalised town to have the Games and it showcased the Gold Coast, what it’s like. I think in the next two years we will have so many visitors from overseas because the camera work has been fantastic and we’ve had very good weather.”
