Wolves on the move

-

KINGSCLIFF will officially begin life at Walter Peate Oval when the Football Gold Coast season kicks off on Saturday.

After a drawn out five-year process, the Wolves have moved from their Reg Dalton Oval home to build a new and improved headquarters across the road.

The development plan, which includes a new clubhouse, lighting and more active fields, will allow the club to run football programs yearround.

The Wolves will gradually move across to Walter Peate Oval until the facility is complete, with the club to continue to use Reg Dalton Oval for training and exhibition games.

“It will allow us to continue to grow football in our community and to provide the game for players of all abilities,” president Gillian Austin said.
