Markham’s selection nod

GOLD Coast’s Will Markham has won a place in the training camp for the Pan Pacific Youth Water Polo Festival in New Zealand.

Markham was yesterday included in the training squad in the under-16 boys team for the July 7-17 competition, with more than 250 athletes representing 18 clubs striving to earn a spot in the Queensland side.

Squads begin their preparation for the festival on May 1 with the final teams named on the Water Polo Queensland website at 5pm on May 28.
