MONOPOLY COMING TO PARA-DICE

-

THE Monopoly race car, iron, thimble and Scottish Terrier player pieces could soon make way for a bikini-clad Meter Maid, lifesaving rubber ring and the Q1 tower with the launch of a Gold Coast edition of the world’s most famous board game. Meter Maids Tiy Rusnik and Nicole Dolly also gave their choice of a possible street name that could be included.

‘GO directly to Southport Watchhouse. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.’

These and more phrases are set to be yelled across tables when the Gold Coast Monopoly is released later this year.

Games websites are already allowing people to pre-order the Gold Coast edition of Monopoly with a scheduled release date of October 2018, the Bulletin can reveal.

The final details of the family fight-inducing board game will be released today, but speculation is rife about what will be included in the popular dice-based game.

The famous race car, thimble, Scottish terrier and iron player pieces could make way for a bikini-clad meter maid, a bikie, a lifesaving rubber ring and the Q1 tower.

The train stations could be swapped for G:link stops like Southport, Broadbeach South, Helensvale and Main Beach.

It is highly unlikely the board will have any Free Parking spot to fit in with the Gold Coast image, although another utility cost could replace it.
