The night before the Games closing ceremony went off with a bang for locals and visitors in Surfers Paradise

-

THERE were so many things to see and do beside athletic pursuits in the past few weeks. The loudest of those was The Big Bang, an explosion of rhythm and beats featuring performers from across the Commonwealth. One of the last performances of Festival 2018, the show hit the main stage in Surfers Paradise on Saturday night, creating an atmosphere that was in part hypnotic and electric. Visitors from across the globe mingled with locals to celebrate on the beach — Gold Coast style.
