Roar chases new target
BRISBANE Roar are used to setting the A-League standard.
The first club to win backto-back championships and the team that set the record for the longest undefeated streak in Australian professional sport.
Now they have another goal in sight – becoming the first club to win the A-League title from outside the top-two.
The Roar start their eighth successive finals campaign on Friday night against Melbourne City from sixth spot.
“To be the first team to win it outside the top-two, that’s there for us. The club has achieved a lot and this is a new target,” Roar’s Henrique said.
