Burgess to keep aggro

-

SOUTH Sydney enforcer Sam Burgess has vowed not to change his aggressive playing style despite having been rubbed out the past two weeks.

Despite being charged twice this season, Burgess is adamant he does not need to change his game.

While he stopped short of declaring himself a marked player by match officials, he was conscious of his record.

“You’re aware of it but you still need to go out and play a game of football,’’ said Burgess, who returns against Canberra on Saturday.

“My record is a combination of grade ones: a gradeone cannonball, it carries 20 per cent loading; grade-one contact, there’s 20 per cent loading.

“I’m not intentionally going out there for someone to tackle my elbow. I’m out there running the ball.”
