Warrant for a no-show

-

A WOMAN who police allege had a blood alcohol reading almost eight times the limit when she crashed on the M1 at Coomera failed to turn up at court yesterday.

A warrant was issued for her arrest.

The court was told the Acacia Ridge woman was also facing a second drink driving charge.

In the first instance, the 36year-old allegedly drove across northbound lanes at a snail’s pace before crashing into a barrier on February 13.

Police found Taleah Richmond at the scene and will allege blood alcohol tests revealed she had a reading of 0.395 per cent.
