GET ready to shake it off, it’s going to be warm and wet for the remainder of this week.

Thanks to an unstable upper level trough, rain is expected for the next four days – and especially over the weekend, according to the Bureau of Meterology.

Meteorologist Jonty Hall said temperatures would remain quite warm today around 26C and nights would only drop to around 19C.

“We’ll see less showers today, but we can’t rule out seeing a few showers about,” he said.

“Particularly for Friday, there’s a few showers around and even the odd thunderstorm, mostly around the Hinterland but still around the Coastal (areas).”

Mr Hall said the warmth had been average overall, but April had seen a number of warm spells.

He expected the weather to stay unsettled for the rest of the week with a “moist onshore flow.”
