Race ace to take pole at Cooly
SEVEN-TIME Bathurst winner and Supercars Hall of Famer Jim Richards will lead a street parade through Coolangatta when he becomes Cooly Rocks On’s first-ever celebrity grand marshal.
A longtime fan of the free annual celebration of classic cars and tunes in the streets of Coolangatta from June 6-10, Supercars great Richards will lead hundreds of classic cars as grand marshal of the popular street parade on June 9.
“It will be a wonderful opportunity to be part of what I believe to be one of the best nostalgia festivals in Australia,” he said.
Festival organisers are yet to confirm what vehicle Richards will lead the parade in.
