Maybe we should look at introducing a system where we elect people who are accountable and look after our interests instead of a bunch of lawyers who outsource their responsibilities to contractors at great expense and claim their hands are clean. The system that works for the people is called a democracy and the one that works for these lawyers is either a kleptocracy, a mediocracy or both.
