90S CLASSIC ON AT FLOATING CINEMA

JUST short of the film’s 20th anniversary, the Gold Coast Film Festival will take viewers back to band camp for a night of teenage angst, mum jokes and warm apple pie with the open-air movie cruise screening of 90s comedy American Pie.

The classic coming-ofage movie will screen aboard a Wyndham cruise boat as part of the 13-day film festival which will serve up more than 100 film events for movie lovers across the Gold Coast.

Movie goers are being encouraged to team with the theme and dress in their best ’90s garb for some “prom night fun”.

The open air screening on top deck will also be serving up some movie munchies including, you guessed it, warm apple pie.

Screening takes place on Thursday from 6pm and tickets are $20.
