Stocco bid dismissed
FORMER father-and-son fugitives Gino and Mark Stocco have failed to have their respective 40-year jail terms overturned.
The pair’s appeal was dismissed in the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal yesterday, more than a year after they were sentenced for a crime spree that included the coldblooded murder of 68-year-old Rosario Cimone.
“In all the circumstances, the sentences imposed upon the applicants cannot be described as unreasonable or plainly unjust,” said Justice Clifton Hoeben.
