BB HOUSE WAS A CRASH COURSE

-

THE Big Brother reunion at the Coolangatta Sands Hotel on Saturday brought together many of the housemates. The chief organiser was Layla Subritzky, the 2012 runner-up, and we asked about her time on the show. “The whole experience made me much calmer and centred. I was 23 years old when I went in and had just arrived from Manchester when I put my name down,” she explained. “I was in there for three months, cut off from everything, and learning to adjust to a new country so it was a crash course in the Australian way of life. The strangest thing was going back into the real world.

All these people screaming your name plus everyone seemed to have an opinion – good or bad – about me. It was a lot of fun though.”
