AUSSIE sensation Ben Simmons’ scintillating post-season has dominated highlight reels, but he isn’t the only Boomer starring in the NBA.

Aron Baynes has been a valuable contributor in the Celtics’ playoffs push without Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward. Mareeba’s Baynes finished the regular season with the best defensive rating in the NBA (97.0) – form he has continued in the playoffs.

The centre was at his solid best in Boston’s victory over Milwaukee in game seven on Sunday.
