Champs back for marathon

REIGNING Mooloolaba Marathon winners Turbulence and Auric’s Quest will be back to defend Southport Yacht Club crowns at this weekend’s event at Main Beach.

The event, which comprises races six and seven of the Southport Yacht Club Offshore Division Passage Series, will run from Friday to Sunday at Macarthur Parade.

Turbulence, skippered by Steven Czapp, won race one of last year’s event, with Auric’s Quest claiming race two.
