IT is cakes and cavities galore, but if you’re looking for a tasty way to end an evening, Tella Balls Dessert Bar is just the place.

The restaurant, themed entirely around Nutella, has been making a name on the Gold Coast since it opened late last year.

With its casual atmosphere and friendly staff, they offer a number of delicious treats, chief among them a perfectly round doughnut bursting with Nutella.

But it’s their waffles that take out top prize on the menu, each one topped with a mess of sauces, lollies, and ice cream.

For those searching for a good time and a new way to satisfy a sweet tooth, this one is a must. THIS season of athletics was a cracker of an experience from competing at nationals in both Adelaide and Sydney to competing against highly professional athletes such as Morgan Mitchell, Annalise Rubie and Bendere Oboya. The best part was meeting new people and cheering them on.

I always like to shake hands after my races and have a bit of a laugh here and there. My biggest achievement would have to be competing at the Commonwealth Games Trials, racing against the best and meeting some of my idols.

An amazing experience that I will remember for a lifetime is running in the Baton Relay in the open ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. Meeting stars such as Sally Pearson, pictured above, and Kurt Fearnley was amazing. I would have to thank Glynis Nunn, an Olympic gold medallist, for this amazing opportunity. I feel truly honoured.
