Maids close

JUST one month after the highly-anticipated Meter Maids Bar and Restaurant opened at Surfers Paradise, it has closed its doors.

But owner Roberta Aitchison is adamant the closure won’t be for long.

“We’re just in the throes of changing things,” she told the

yesterday.

“It’s very temporary. It’s just small renovations while it’s a quiet time.”
