Tigerstix in line for AHL

LABRADOR’S Aaron Weiss, Adam Imer, Corey Piggin, Luke Tyne and Blake and Dylan Wotherspoon have been named in a preliminary Queensland Blades squad for this year’s Australian Hockey League.

The six Tigerstix stars are part of a 35-strong Blades squad chosen ahead of the AHL, with final details for the tournament still to be confirmed.

Hockey Australia last week announced the competition would be “re-imagined” in 2019 to emphasise entertainment and fan engagement.
