Knights continue march

A SECOND-half blitz against Mudgeeraba has helped the Gold Coast Knights maintain a share of the competition lead in the Gold Coast Premier League.

The Knights made it threestraight wins with a 4-0 victory away to Mudgeeraba on Tuesday night, but they did not have it all their own way after scores were locked at 0-0 at halftime.

Morgan Saunders, Trent Barwick, Teddy Watson and Andrew Barisic then found the net after the break to cap a gruelling run of three games in 10 days.

They are joined at the top of the table by Burleigh, with Palm Beach and Broadbeach rounding out the top four.

Burleigh and Palm Beach open Round 4 at Pizzey Park on Friday night.
