BEST CATCH

WAYNE Young, pictured right, takes out our fish of the week this week for this awesome whiting he caught recently. Many say that Wayne is the best whiting fisherman on the Gold Coast having spent years perfecting the art of catching horse whiting here on the Coast. The big whiting are biting at the moment. I fished the gutters of Main Beach at the weekend and caught some good quality ones in among a lot of smaller fish, but the Nerang River near the council chambers is producing big fish at the moment.

For best results get your hands on blood worms for bait and good luck.
