Solid SSE groundswel­l ranging from 4 to 6ft+ exposed northern NSW breaks, wrapping at 3 to 4ft southern Queensland’s exposed beaches and grading smaller inside the points and bays. WIND: Early lighter SW to SSW inshore tending S to SSE 10 to 20 knots during the day.

TOMORROW

Easing SSE groundswel­l around 3 to 4ft+ along exposed northern NSW breaks, grading to 2 to 3ft southern Queensland beaches and smaller inside the points and bays. WIND: Early light WSW to SSW tending S 15 to 20 knots during the afternoon.

THURSDAY

Fading SE swell reinforced by new SSE windswell. Around 2 to 3ft+ exposed northern NSW breaks, grading to 2ft southern QLD exposed beaches and to 1 to 2ft inside the points and bays. WIND: Early lighter SW to SSW SSE 10 to 20 knots during the day.

FRIDAY

SSE windswell around 2 to 3ft northern NSW south facing breaks, grading to 2ft or so across Queensland’s exposed beaches and smaller along the points and inside the bays. WIND: Light WSW to SW inshore, tending light and variable.

SATURDAY

Tiny ENE and SSE swells around 1ft exposed breaks, otherwise virtually flat. WIND: W 5 to 10 knots tending light SE to NE later.
